Job description

We are working with a leading property development company who are looking to appoint a Construction Superintenden into the business to work on a major landmark development in London, valued at £1.5bn+. On offer is a salary of up to £120k - £140k plus package.

You will be experienced in leading construction teams in the delivery of large residential or mixed-use schemes over £100m, with a strong understanding of construction practices along with a proven track record of excellent health & safety.

Our client is happy to consider degree qualified or time-served candidates who have worked on large residential or mixed-use developments in London.

You will be responsible for ensuring all on-side construction activities are going ahead as planned and to all safety standards in place. You will do this by maintaining a very close, good working relationship with all contractors and sub-contractors. You will be extremely visible on site and will be well-respected by all parties due to your background, knowledge and demeamour.

You will report into the Development Director and provide regular construction progress updates along with holding meetings with Directors and sub-contractors.

Salary for this role is circa £120k - £140k plus package.

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience delivering major residential or mixed-use developments, including high-rise.
  • Background of working on £100m+ developments.
  • Strong health & safety focus with a proven background of overseeing safe sites.
  • Excellent understand of construction legislation and construction practices.
  • Good site presence, well respected by all parties.
  • A friendly, open demeanor who can achieve success with all parties.
