Job description

We are working with a leading house builder who are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager into the business to oversee the delivery of key housing schemes along the M3 corridor.

You will have a background in leading the delivery of multiple housing developments and will have a solid background and either PLC house builders or medium-sized privately-owned developers. Multi-site experience is essential for this role as you will be handling multiple sites from day one. Each project has a site team who will report into you as the Contracts Manager.

Experience delivering RC frame, traditional build house & apartments or timber frame is essential, any candidates who have experience of 2 or more of the build styles would be at a strong advantage.

You will be well presented, hard-working and ambitious with a strong focus on programme, quality and delivery to budgetary / time deadlines on projects with the house building market.

You will be responsible for overseeing the day to day construction operations consisting of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered effectively and safely.

Salary for the Contracts Manager is circa £75k - £85k plus package.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience leading the delivery of housing schemes in London or the Home Counties.
  • Multi-site delivery experience.
  • Well presented with the ability to report into demanding clients.
  • Hard working.
  • Ability to lead a team of Site Managers, ensuring multiple projects are being delivered simultaneously
