This is an exciting role for a budding office administrator to play a key role in a rapidly growing and fast paced recruitment business.

We are keen to hear from full and part time candidates and in particular anyone that has recruitment experience.

The Company

TDM Recruitment Group is one of the leading residential construction and property recruitment companies in London and the South East that is going from strength to strength and is expanding rapidly.

We have an impressive client base includes a number of FTSE listed businesses as well as private equity backed start-ups. Over the past 9 months we have experienced a period of sustained growth with the company doubling in size.

We work predominately in the middle management to director level (salary circa £50k - £200k) and operate on mainly a search and selection basis whereby we actively head hunt candidates and sell career opportunities with our clients.

The Role

Because of all this activity we now require a driven and hungry office administrator to run the office on a day to day basis and also help the senior team with their workload. The role will be extremely fast paced and varied with you having to put on many hats. The company culture and atmosphere is one similar to a city bank/ trading floor and you will be comfortable working in organised chaos.

Your main remit will be to manage the office on a day to day basis. This could be as simple as order stationary through to arranging meetings for senior managers or composing emails/ letters for clients and candidates. You will provide backup support to the recruitment team in managing their administration tasks and free them up to make money.

You will be used to dealing with accounts and invoices, whilst the role is not one of a financial controller or accountant you will manage the paperwork and administration of day to day business activity.

This is not your typical 9-5 sleepy office environment and your personality and energy will be the most important factors in you being a success.

Key requirements

  • Previous experience of office administrator or a recruitment consultant who wants to make a career change away from
  • Your will have a good knowledge of Microsoft excel and be used to running and building detailed spreadsheets (This is absolutely critical and will be assessed during interview)
  • Background of being involved in multiply functions from finance, HR, office admin, stock ordering
  • Very driven and dynamic person. This role would suit someone looking for a career and not just another job. We only want the ambitious.
  • Excellent English (written & verbal)
  • Comfortable in making decisions. You will be able to work in an autonomous fashion.
