Job description

I am working with a contracting arm of a leading developer in South West London who have been established for over 20 years and have gone from strength to strength.

They specialise in producing low volume, high quality living spaces in prestigious, sought after areas of London such as Wimbledon, Putney, Fulham, Chelsea, Etc. Their typical projects would include low volume, new build apartments and refurbishments/conversions of London townhouse properties, including Grade II listed buildings, into high-end apartments.

They are looking to add a Senior Quantity Surveyor team to initially work on a fantastic development in Parsons Green of a tennis + social club that will have 4 stories of high end residential apartments above along with a state of the art restaurant, nursery and so on.

In return, you will be rewarded with a fantastic package between 70 -75K dependent on your experience and ability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of tender allowances
  • The measurement and valuation of works (on site and from drawings), for valuations, variations and final accounts.
  • Agreement of valuation dates and preparing, submitting and agreement of interim valuations in accordance with those dates.
  • Administering and/or advising on Main Contract and Subcontract conditions  
  • Preparation of cost to complete
  • Financial Reporting
  • Cash management and maximisation
  • Cash Flow and Turnover forecast
  • Provision of standard reports
  • Internal Valuations/CVRs and subcontract liability reports in accordance with schedule of accounting period end dates and deadlines

Experience and Qualifications:

  • You will have experience of working within the Construction industry for a main contractor or developer
  • You will have sound experience of working within the same, or similar role previous. 
  • You will be degree qualified and ideally member of the RICS or IOB (or moving towards professional membership).
