Job description

My client is a well-respected and privately owned house builder and developer who prides themselves on providing the very best quality new builds in and across the Kent and Sussex regions.

 

Due to continued success, an opportunity has arisen for a Technical Co-Ordinator to join their ‘family feel’ team of entrepreneurial individuals and be involved in the growth of the company and team.

 

With a strong pipeline of current and future projects, you will work on a wide variety of design led residential projects across Kent which will range in size from one off houses to small to medium size developments up to 100 units in size.

 

Reporting in to a Technical Manager, you MUST have at least 2 years’ prior experience working in a Technical Co-Ordinator’s position, ideally for a developer/house builder or contractor on low rise traditional housing. You will co-ordinate external design consultants, discharge planning conditions, obtaining building control approvals and oversee drawings.

 

In return there will be ongoing support, training and opportunities for progression. You will work with a good team of individuals who all enjoy what they do and hold regular social events.

 

Key requirements:

 

  • Ideally degree qualified however relevant experience will also be considered.

  • At least 2 years’ experience working as a Graduate or Technical Co-Ordinator on traditional low rise residential projects.

  • Ambitious, career driven and set to succeed in whatever they do.

  • Understandings of technical drawings and liaising with external consultants.
