Technical Coordinator

  • Sector: Design & Technical
  • Location: Berkshire
  • Job type:
  • Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum + package
Job description

I’m working with a cash-rich, entrepreneurial owned house builder who are looking to strengthen their technical team with a Technical Coordinator.

This particular company have now been going for over 20 years and are well respected in the industry for designing and building a high quality product which people are proud to be part of. They have a fairly small team of dynamic, hard-working individuals who all pull together and help each other out and due to this company ethos, you rarely find people leaving to join other companies.

Due to their continued success, they are looking for a Technical or Senior Technical Coordinator to join the team and be involved in small to medium design led residential projects across the Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Berkshire and Oxford regions. You would be an ambitious, hard-working and career driven individual who is always willing to step in and help should it be needed.

You will have at least 4 years post qualification experience working on residential projects and will be degree qualified from an architecture, engineering or hold a similar relevant qualification. You will ideally be working at a privately owned house builder already however relevant experience from a PLC house builder, contractor or developer will also be strongly considered.

You will have good technical all round knowledge however ongoing support and training from other senior members of staff will be offered and the Director’s door is always open. There will be good room for progression in the business and hard work and success is always recognised. There are regular social events and no internal politics like you find at most companies out there.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 4 years’ experience working for a house builder or developer.
  • Degree qualified in Architecture, Engineering or other relevant background.
  • Able to oversee your own projects with a strong track record of doing so.
  • A fine eye for details, calm and collected under pressure and career driven to progress within the business.
  • A strong desire to work with a privately owned family business on high quality products that people are proud to be involved in.
  • Looking for career longevity and progression.
