TDM Recruitment Group is a leading construction and property recruitment company that is going from strength to strength and is expanding rapidly (doubled in size already in 2015).

We have an impressive client base which includes a number of FTSE listed businesses as well as private equity backed start-ups. Over the past 12 months we have experienced a period of sustained growth with the company doubling in size. 

We work predominately in the middle management to director level (salary circa £50k - £200k) and operate on mainly a search and selection basis whereby we actively head hunt candidates and sell career opportunities with our clients.

The role

We are now looking to recruit another 2 graduate resourcers to join the business. You will undertake the 3 month trainee/ induction programme where at the end of it you will be a fully-fledged recruitment consultant and have all the skills needed to make serious money.

You will initially get involved in the sourcing and researching of candidates through social media (LinkedIn etc.) or using the phone to map out target companies and then identify potential candidates. Over the 12 week period you will be exposed to more of the recruitment process and eventually you would be involved in the full recruitment lifecycle, from identification to placement.

The role is very telephone orientated with graduates making roughly 60 – 80 calls a day for the first 3-5 months. You will be selling jobs to candidates who aren’t looking for work, whilst also pitching candidates to clients who aren’t looking to recruit. You will need tenacity and endeavour to succeed.

Working alongside one of the Managing Consultants you will join a team of 2-3 consultants who are at the very sharp end of the property industry. You will be supported in all facets of your career development and there is real opportunity to progress and move up in the business quickly as it grows.

General responsibilities:

  • Researching companies and projects in the construction and property industry. The majority of this will be done on the telephone and it is expected that you will make between 50 – 70 phone calls a day.
  • Cross referencing the research and candidate names on LinkedIn or other social media.
  •  Managing the input and flow of data and project information found on the research assignments.
  •  Assisting the Senior Consultants on large complex assignments for senior directors. This maybe through name gathering, data input or candidate head hunting.

  •  Outgoing and personable nature, you will be interacting with a wide and varied group of people so the ability to talk and make people feel at ease is essential.
  •  Previous sales or estate agency experience .
  •  Or, recent graduate hungry determined to forge a sales career.
