Example responsibilities for cost planners include:
- Prepare time, cost, materials and other estimates to be used by management for planning, organising and scheduling work
- Assess cost-effectiveness of products, projects or services
- Consult with clients, vendors, personnel to discuss estimates and resolve any issues with those estimates
