This is a fantastic opportunity to join a National Housebuilder as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in the Sevenoaks area. As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will report directly to either a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager and hold responsibility for assisting the senior team across several developments. Experience depending, you could also be solely responsible for at least 1 new build residential sites across the whole of Kent and parts of Sussex.

The job is well suited for both established Assistant Quantity Surveyors and experienced Trainee Quantity Surveyors looking for a new challenge with a new employer.

A successful candidate will have a basic practical knowledge of the following responsibilities with Housebuilder or similar.

• Accurate Valuations
• Subcontract Management & Orders
• Cost Value Reconciliation
• Responsibility for project from contract awarding to Final Account
• Supply Chain Procurement
• Cost Control & Budgeting
• Successful Negotiator
• Variation
• Benchmarking and analysis of build costs
• Final Accounts
