Assistant Site Manager

Didcot, Oxford

£50,000 + car & bonus

I am working closely with a privately owned, luxury-developer with nearly a century of experience in producing high quality homes, in desirable locations.

The business is in the middle of a period of growth, where they have recently begun works on 4 new schemes in the South East of England.

They are looking to strengthen their team in the form of an Assistant Site Manager, to support a multi award winning Site Manager on a 30-unit scheme consisting of 3-5-bedroom homes.

Skills And Capabilities

You should demonstrate the following skills and capabilities:

  • Confidence chairing and leading meetings

  • Ability to plan, organise and monitor employees and sub-contract activity on a day by day basis

  • Accurate preplanning capability, pre-ordering all materials in accordance with supplier lead times

  • Excellent written and oral communication and motivational skills are essential to the success of this role

  • Can build and maintain excellent working relationships as there is an extensive requirement to liaise with external bodies such as local authorities, NHBC and Health and Safety officials

  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Knowledge, Experience And Qualifications

You should aspire to achieve or already hold:

  • Recognition as a highly respected and knowledgeable Assistant Site Manager

  • CSCS Site Management (Black or Gold Card)

  • A full knowledge and understanding of all technical/health and safety standards including a proven track record in timber frame construction

  • Success through the effective management and development of your Site Team

  • A Site Manager Safety Training (5 Day), Fire Warden and First Aid Course

  • A full clean driving license
