An interesting and varied role for an experienced Building Surveyor who holds ambitions of working with a very successful multi-disciplinary professional consultancy, if you are that person - please read on..

The role will involve working within of their talented Building Surveying teams on public sector housing projects from inception to completion.

This is an opportunity that will suit a surveyor with the obvious drive and ambition to be part of a successful division of this consultancy.


Associate Building Surveyor

This opportunity will involve a full range of Building Surveying services.

Supporting the consultancy in delivering solutions for clients.

You will be responsible for managing technical work and projects under the direction of a Senior Partner/Manager including:

Liaising with clients about a myriad of technical matters.

Understanding the objectives of ensuring job profitability and providing sufficient information to the partner in order to prepare accurate cash flow projections.

Managing small teams as appropriate

Guidance for APC candidates.


Key Qualifications

Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) or Member of Institute of Building (MCIOB)

Experience and proven track record of performing in a Building Surveying role in particular within the Public Sector Housing realm

Full technical ability and up to date contract knowledge

Ability to work in a team environment is quite key to this role with emphasis on being able to lead on specific projects as appropriate.

Strong experience in Public Sector Housing


Examples of job types:

Structural Surveys and Acquisition inspections of buildings

Building Defects Analysis

Writing specification, contract administration and running public sector housing projects

...and Preparing and submitting applications for statutory consent and liaising with relevant authorities.
