Job description

      Live Project Programme Support

a.       Production of integrated project programmes – design, procurement and construction – in conjunction with Project Manager/Project Director and Technical/Commercial teams

b.      Production of project short medium and target programmes as required

c.       Weekly review and dropline reporting of progress on site – site visits as required by the PD/PM

d.      Production of sequence/logistics/craneage/hoist plans – interaction with Plant suppliers, Technical team and Temporary works engineer

e.      Production of PEP (planning/logistics/sequence elements)

f.        Sales interaction – sales rates programmes to integrate with plot completions/CMLs etc

 

 

New Bids

a.       Production project programmes – Pre-construction/Planning and construction – in conjunction with Project Manager/Project Director and Technical

b.      Production of sequence/logistics/craneage/hoist plans – interaction with Plant suppliers, Technical team and Temporary works engineer

c.       Production of PEP (planning/logistics/sequence elements) to meet bid stage requirements – including plans and details – sketchup or similar

d.      Sales interaction – sales rates programmes to integrate with plot completions/CMLs etc

e.      Preliminaries Monitor for cost plan purposes – agreement of project resource

3.       Homebuilder –

a.       Input and maintain company our KPI monitoring tool with planned and actual information

4.       Experience

a.       Have Developed metrics from basic drawing information for use in planning library

b.      Familiar in providing baseline, procurement, target build programme, medium range versions etc

c.       Involved in regular Monitoring programmes

d.      had experience all types of housebuilding  i.e. low, medium and high rise developments work

5.       Knowledge

a.       Technical proficient in Asta with recognised training certification including: Introduction to Asta Power Project , Managing Costs and Resources with Asta Powerproject, Progress Analysis and S-curve Reporting with Asta Powerproject or similar

b.      Able to use a document management system

c.       Able to provide programme reports

d.      Able to produce Gantt Charts. Logic Networks, PERT Charts, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)

e.      Be familiar with RIBA stages of design and construction

6.       Current role

a.       Likely to be currently working as a lead or senior planner a large main contractor in the last 7-10 years

b.      Leading a small team of planners – it is likely that the candidate will be working alone (ie no team) reporting directly in to the Operation Director
