Job description

We are working with a leading PropCo who are looking to appoint an extremely experienced Development Director into the business to take responsibility for the successful cradle to grave delivery of a portfolio of projects, as well as the leadership and management of the team.

On offer is a salary of £130k - £180k plus package plus fully, market leading package.

My client can offer you the opportunity to work for a flagship brand in the property market, autonomy to run your teams and projects as you see fit and the ability to influence decision making at a management level.

You will be a high-quality Development Director who has demonstrable experience in leading teams in delivering major projects through their entirety, from feasibility, site assembly, planning, pre-letting, funding, development, delivery, marketing, sales, leasing and hand-over.

With a proven background in driving major schemes, you will be an ambitious individual who is keen to join a very well-known and respected business.

- Overseeing teams to ensure all facets of the developments are pulled together to ensure an effective delivery of the schemes from cradle to grave.

- Contractor selection & management.

- Consultant selection & management.

- Stakeholder management.

- Negotiation with various bodies including local authorities and government.

- Representing the business within relevant communities, forums, markets and sectors where necessary.

Key requirements:
- Proven experience of the cradle to grave delivery of major developments in London.
- Background of working with leading PropCo’s.

- Strong team management and leadership skills and the ability to attract and recruit high calibre individuals.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Degree qualified, highly intelligent and ambitious.
