Job description

We are working with a leading developer who are looking to appoint a Development Director into the business to take responsibility for the successful cradle to grave delivery of a portfolio of projects and the leadership and management of the team.

On offer is a salary of £115,000 - £145,000 plus package.

My client can offer you the opportunity to work for an outstanding brand in the property market, a great deal of autonomy to run your teams and projects as you see fit and the ability to influence decision making at board level. The business is growing rapidly and this presents a fantastic time to join and play a major part.

You will be a high-quality Head of Development or Development Director who has demonstrable experience in leading teams in delivering major projects through their entirety, from feasibility, site assembly, planning, pre-letting, funding, development, delivery, marketing, sales, leasing and hand-over.

With a proven background in driving major schemes, you will be an ambitious individual who is keen to join a very well-known and respected business.

- Overseeing teams to ensure all facets of the developments are pulled together to ensure an effective delivery of the schemes from cradle to grave.

- Contractor selection & management.

- Consultant selection & management.

- Stakeholder management.

- Negotiation with various bodies including local authorities and government.

- Representing the business within relevant communities, forums, markets and sectors where necessary.

Key requirements:
- Proven experience of the cradle to grave delivery of major developments in London.
- Background of working with leading house builders / developers

- Strong team management and leadership skills and the ability to attract and recruit high calibre individuals.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Degree qualified, highly intelligent and ambitious.
