Do you have experience of working on high rise RC frame residential and mixed use projects in London?


Are you looking at working for a niche, bespoke company who look after their staff opposed to being just a number in a large corporate cog?

My client is an award winning, privately owned house builder and developer and professional outfit who rarely recruit due to low staff retention. Due to continued success and growth, they are now looking for a good Development Manager to join the close knit team. They are particularly looking for an individual from a technical and design background as they feel they are a little light in this department at this current point so see it as a great opportunity to have some strong input in to a small team who will listen.


As a Development Manager you will need to come from a technical background either as a Senior Design/Technical Coordinator or Technical/Design Manager looking to make the transition in to more of a development role. You must have experience of working on RC frame projects, preferably in London as this is their bread and butter as projects are predominantly large scale residential and mixed use.


You will be joining around 10 other individuals in the business who each come from a strong house building background and have a strong reputation in the industry so it's a perfect opportunity to work and learn from those around you. The role will give you great autonomy in the job seeing projects drom cradle to grave and you'll have a lot more impact in the company as you would in a large PLC where you may be pigeon holed.

Key Requirements:


  • Degree qualified or relevant experience in the construction industry.
  • Residential and/or mixed use experience for a developer or house builder, ideally in London.
  • From a design or technical background (such as a Senior Design or Technical Coordinator looking to step up or a Design or Technical Manager looking to move in to more of a Development Manager role.
  • Self sufficient, confident and calm headed who isn't afraid to stand up and put their ideas in front of other heads of departments. The company likes ideas and individuals who aren't afraid to speak up.
  • Someone who is looking for longevity in a business and wants to help in the growth of the business moving forward.
