Fit Out Manager

Central London

£60,000 + car allowance/travel + bonus and benefits

 

TDM are currently working closely with a top 5 UK Housebuilder and have been instructed to search exclusively for a Fit-Out Manager to help deliver a well-known residential development in Central London.

 

Our client is a forward-thinking developer with similar projects throughout London and are recognised as a market leader in the construction of high spec residential developments built within the m25.

 

There is growth for such role, we are happy to look at candidates with vast amounts of experience who may be using the role as a steppingstone to progress within the company and welcome more responsibility, as well as Fit Out Managers with less industry experience but are looking for an employer that values you and can show you a clear career path.

 

The construction division is headed up by an extremely experienced Director who believes in running a tight ship, low staff turnover and a happy team performing better.

 

Who we are looking for:

 

  • A results driven experienced Fit-Out with outstanding interactive skills.

  • Knowledge of building, material components, building regulations and H&S

  • Excellent planning, organisational & prioritisation skills

  • Good at problem solving & decision making

  • Ability to motivate and manage staff

  • Management skills including programming and planning

  • Confident, resourceful and practical

  • Maintains a professional, consistent and fair approach

     

    You will be expected to but not limited to:

     

  • Order materials & allocate labour. Co-ordinate their delivery on time- and site- specific basis

  • Ensure familiarity with site; develop & maintain good relationships with trades

  • Ensure that Health and Safety requirements on site are adhered to at all times

  • Document & process variation orders

  • Ensure that projects run to time and on budget

  • Creating and maintaining an efficient Projects management system, including Tender analysis file

  • Handling ad hoc client and team requests

 

You can expect in return, a £60,000 (negotiable) basic salary, a 10% car/travel allowance and discretionary bonus, as well full company benefits. You will have access to some of the most highly regarded training courses in the industry and exposure to some of the industries most successful senior construction managers.
