canterbury office + flexible working £23,000 + uncapped commission

As a graduate/ trainee recruitment consultant, you will be put on a tried and tested training programme and will work alongside one of the directors or associate directors from day one at our office in Canterbury two days a week. The rest of the week, we offer flexible work so you can choose to work at our Canterbury office or elsewhere.

We know how to give anyone the key skills and tools to become a good recruiter. In fact, 80% of the current team started as graduates/ trainees and a number of them are now the best in the industry at what they do.

What we look for is the ambition and drive to work hard and take responsibility for your own success. As such. we offer all graduates a basic salary of £23,000 plus uncapped commission. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Researching companies and projects in the construction and property industry. The majority of this will be done on the telephone and it is expected that you will make between 50 – 70 phone calls a day.
  • Cross referencing the research and candidate names on linkedin or other social media
  • Managing the input and flow of data and project information found on the research assignments.
  • Assisting the senior consultants on large complex assignments for senior directors. This maybe through name gathering, data input or candidate head hunting.

key requirements: In 2021 we recruited 2 new graduates, a semi-professional rugby player and 2 career changers. We dont want bog standard people as tdm is very different to most recruiters.

  • be a graduate based in Kent
  • be very ambitious and driven individual
  • enjoy working to targets and exceeding these targets week in and week out
  • be hungry to succeed in everything you do.
  • have an enquiring mind and be someone who doesn’t accept the status quo. Asking questions is good!
  • be outgoing and personable as you will be interacting with a wide and varied group of people so the ability to talk and make people feel at ease is essential
  • ideally have some b2b or telesales experience (not essential)
