Land Buyer

Reading

£40k – £55k basic

I am working with the leading privately owned house builder and property development company in Surrey & Berkshire. They are looking to recruit an additional land buyer to source and acquire land in the M4 – M3 corridor.

You will be an experienced land buyer who has a background and demonstrable history of buying sites in Berkshire and surrey with a particular focus on Reading, Ascot, Weybridge, Sunningdale etc

The business is a very dynamic and entrepreneurial one and as such you will be given a high level of autonomy to grow and develop the business unit as you see fit. This is a real opportunity to grow and develop your career at a faster pace than you would in plc house building. You will report directly in to the Land Director and work on a number of high profile roles with a real chance to progress.

Critically and firstly you will be a born deal maker and have a track record of doing 3-4 land deals a year.

Key Requirements

• Degree qualified and ideal property related
• Natural born deal maker doing 2-4 land deals a year consistently.
• Currently working for either a national residential developer or high profile investor or agency.
• demonstrable track record of sourcing and land buying in Berkshire and Surrey.
• A strong network of contacts in the land agency world.
• Determined, hungry and ambitious.
• Ability to work autonomously and independently from the rest of the team.
