Purpose of the Role:

To support the identification and acquisition of land within the Land and Partnership Team, including the co-ordination of land bids and project management systems

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify Land

Manage and research sources of land information

Support the identification and acquisition of land in line with the Regions business plan

2. Land Feasibilities

Prepare briefs to Technical and Sales teams

Liaise with internal teams to assist with preparation of feasibilities

Research sales values and prepare summary schedules

Prepare and co-ordinate submission documents for more comprehensive bids

Support the production of Cap Ex and other reports as required

3. Management information

Co-ordinate and review QMS (internal approval) procedures

Develop and manage systems around land opportunities

4. Land Purchase

Assist the team in ensuring all contracts and land transfers are completed

5. Working Relationships

Establish good working relationships with all management and staff in the company

Maintain good relationships with Land Agents / Local Authorities / Consultants / Statutory Authorities / Solicitors / Registered Providers / Govt Agencies

What we are looking for:

·Previous experience in a similar role is desirable

·Up to date knowledge of housing issues is desirable.

·Commitment to continuous improvement

·Excellent partnership skills

·Must have a minimum of GCSE grade A-C in English and Maths or equivalent

·Up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.

·Team commitment.

·Demonstrates eye for detail and commitment to delivering excellent standards.

·Excellent organisational skills.

·Effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines.

·Professional attitude and approach to work.

·Ability to competently operate MS Office (Word & Excel).
