Job description

We are working with a leading developer who, due to rapid expansion, are looking for a Sales Director to join the team in Welwyn Garden City. On offer is a basic salary of up to £120,000 plus package.

You will have solid new homes sales experience as a Sales Director working for a lead housebuilder. Reporting into the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the management of staff and sites across the region, ensuring performance of Sales Mangers, Sales Consultants, launching sites, producing reports and working closely with the Managing Director and Head of Marketing to gain maximum exposure.

You will be ambitious, driven, motivated and want to be part of a rapidly developing brand. You will take pride in your work and have a solid commitment to customer service.  

The business is looking for a team player who will contribute and bring ideas to the table. With experience of managing and motivating sales teams and exceeding targets, you should bring a positive, self-motivated and commercial approach.

You must be very well organised and have extensive management experience as you will be overseeing staffing and performance across multiple developments. You will also have experience contributing to marketing strategy.

You will be able to manage multiple sites and know how to set sales and marketing strategy. You will be driven, motivated and able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

You will report into the MD and on offer is a basic salary of up to £120,000 plus package. Based out of head office in Welwyn Garden City, you will be required to travel to sites across the region (Hertfordshire, Essex, Middlesex, West London) as and when required.

N.B. Only applicants who have experience in New Homes sales and who have worked for a housebuilder will be considered.

 Key requirements:

  • Extensive new home sales experience at senior level working for a house builder or retirement developer
  • Understanding and background of setting strategy and sales forecasting in the new homes industry.
  • Experience of managing new homes sites.
  • Experience in land appraisal and pricing
  • Able to motivate and manage on site sales staff
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Ability to work weekend hours as necessary
