Planning Manager
Job description.
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Town Planning to make their next step up the career ladder. We’re looking for an experienced planner to take on responsibility for the day-to-day implementation, coordination and delivery of a flagship strategic site, with oversight of all matters related to compliance with existing consents and seeking amendments where required.
Ideally you will be a chartered member of the RTPI with a minimum of five years’ experience. The ideal candidate will have experience of preparing, submitting, and managing complex planning applications, or acting as the lead officer for the local planning authority responsible for determining such schemes. You will have a good understanding of planning policy requirements as well as a strong working knowledge of the practicalities and legalities of drafting, discharging and implementing planning conditions. Experience of promoting strategic land through the Local Plan process, including preparing appropriately structured representations, would be advantageous but is not essential.
