Project Manager

Brent, London

£90,000 + Car allowance and bonus

 

We are looking for an experienced project manager to join a scheme of 360 high rise units starting it’s 2nd phase now. Consisting of 1,2 and 3 bed apartments the development has already finished 1st phase with 3 more phases left to build over the next 3 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote Health and Safety good practices, whilst achieving Programme, Quality and coordination of the site activities whilst maintaining public highways.

  • Ensure people management of all disciplines and maintain a good relationship with key stake holders. Client relationships to be managed in a professional manner.

  • To oversee the production on site, via Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers and Trainee Site Managers, to deliver projects on time and accurately report current position on programmes

  • To work closely with all members of the site delivery team and proactively drive communication and problem solving.

  • Positively liaise and communicate with estimating, surveying, purchasing, design, resident

  • To deliver project on time and accurately report current position on programme, work to pre-determined time targets on the Contract Programme to the agreed quality standard and budget.

  • To ensure construction complies with NHBC and all other statutory authorities

  • To organise & control the construction of development in accordance with the specification provided

  • Prepare accurate and professional reports for both internal and external clients.

  • To ensure that all decisions are made considering H&S, Programme, Cost and Quality.

  • To engage with Technical Team to ensure buildability and efficiencies are developed within the design and that programme is maintained.

  • To be the Ambassador of Quality for the Project.

  • Maintain the high presentation standards set by Hill.

     

    Relevant Experience (Including Qualifications):

  • Concrete frame and traditional build experience

  • Proven track record of running a multiple team scheme of similar size.

  • ASTA programming

  • First Aid at work

  • SMSTS

  • HNC or Degree Qualified

  • Relevant CSCS Card

  • Scaffold Inspection Certificate

  • Proficient in ASTA Power Projects

  • Supervisor / Appointed Person Crane (Qualified)

  • Experience of lifting operations

  • Experience in managing Assistants & Trainees

  • A proven track record of quality delivery on time and to budget is paramount.

  • Recent experience of working on mixed used schemes incorporating mainly residential and affordable housing ideally on projects £10m+ incorporating RC Frame, traditional construction and Code for Sustainable Homes.
