An exceptional opportunity to join a premium, privately owned housebuilder as a Quantity Surveyor, based in the Oxford.  

the position

Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the cost management of several residential projects within the business.

package & benefits

• Salary package of £45,000 – £55,000 (Depending on experience)
• Bonus

the requirements

You will be an experienced QS, with a demonstrable background of having commercial responsibility of developments within another housebuilder.

Critically and firstly, you will be an efficient operator & have a consistent track record of the effective cost management of developments within a housebuilder.

• Negotiation
• Buying (when required)
• Subcontract Orders
• Valuations
• Cost Value Reconciliation
• Subcontracts Management
• Variation
• Final Accounts
• Benchmarking & analysis of build costs
• Cost Engineering
