Job description

The client is renowned for building expertly-crafted new homes for over 40 years in the industry they are creating a work force to ensure future fast paced growth and development. Progression and development are important to the client therefore if you are ambitious, varied experience will be considered. This regional developer is regarded as one of the most successful in Hampshire and with multiple sites pending start dates my client is keen to speak with Quantity Surveyors to see a site from procurement to finish. 


Understanding in timber frame and traditional build schemes would be valuable to the client as the pending sites are a mixture from 1-4 bed new homes. 


Key Responsibilities:

Able to demonstrate, previous experience of working for a house builder or relevant organisation
The negotiation & letting of subcontracts within required timescales.
Providing the cost-data feedback to Divisional Estimating Department.
Administration & management of the financial aspects of the development.
Reviewing and forecasting the latest cost estimates and reporting
The relationships with external employers such as Housing Associations undertaking valuations, cash flow forecasts, obtaining warranties, etc.
Assist in maintaining a safe working environment within Company workplaces and applying the Company’s Health & Safety Policy for their own, their colleagues, third  parties and the public’s benefit.

Experience and Qualifications:

You will have at least 3/4 years’ experience of working within the Construction industry for a house builder.
You will have sound experience of working within the same, or similar role previous. 
You will be degree qualified and member of the RICS or IOB (or moving towards professional membership)


The successful candidate will receive an attractive salary of £65,000 PA + car/ allowance, an attractive bonus and the possibility to move up and progress with the developer.
