Job description I am currently working closely with a leading luxury contractor in Central London. With a sustained high annual turnover of £50m for a family run business, they have a strong presence in the luxury market. They are looking for an experienced, ambitious quantity Surveyor to help deliver large high end and luxury commercial and residential projects across London. 

The role is ideally suited for a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to make the next step up in a successful business, there is plenty of scope to make a mark for yourself on projects from concept to completion. You would be involved in the running of multiple projects of varying budgets usually between £2m-£20m.

Leading projects for this client will help boost your portfolio, with the fantastic range of live projects and pending project in the pipeline, the client is keen for the successful individual to undertake a substantial wealth of responsibilities. You will be responsible for site development and all commercial cost appraisals for your projects and viability/feasibility analysis, managing sub-contractors, materials and goods, preparing and monitoring site costs and budgets and ensuring site set-up health and safety. Previous experience of sole responsibility of P&L will be advantageous for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
The negotiation & letting of subcontracts within required timescales.
Providing the cost-data feedback to Divisional Estimating Department.
Administration & management of the financial aspects of the development.
Reviewing and forecasting the latest cost estimates and reporting
Assist in maintaining a safe working environment within Company workplaces and applying the Company’s Health & Safety Policy for their own, their colleagues, third parties and the public’s benefit.

Experience and Qualifications:
You will have at least 4/5 years’ experience of working within the Construction industry particularly new homes/refurbishment/high rise residential
You will have sound experience of managing P&L on projects
You will be degree, HNC or similarly qualified
