Job description We are working with a highly commended nationally recognised house builder in Leatherhead, who are looking to recruit a determined Quantity Surveyor to help deliver large scale, quality housing schemes in Surrey. 

They have a wealth of land and planning in the pipeline to deliver therefore, this role is ideally suited for a Quantity Surveyor or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor looking for a multiple award-winning developer to aid in the financial aspects of their stunning new home sites. The successful candidate will be joining a large national house builder that prides itself in the high staff retention rate and rewarding loyalty with an impressive remuneration package. The client sets clear career goals and predominantly promotes within, this role is a unique opportunity as the client is expanding in the home counties.

Key Responsibilities:

Able to demonstrate, previous experience of working for a house builder or relevant organisation
The negotiation & letting of subcontracts within required timescales.
Providing the cost-data feedback to Divisional Estimating Department.
Administration & management of the financial aspects of the development.
Reviewing and forecasting the latest cost estimates and reporting
The relationships with external employers such as Housing Associations undertaking valuations, cash flow forecasts, obtaining warranties, etc.
Assist in maintaining a safe working environment within Company workplaces and applying the Company’s Health & Safety Policy for their own, their colleagues, third parties and the public’s benefit.

Experience and Qualifications:

You will have at least 4 years’ experience of working within the Construction industry for a house builder.
You will have sound experience of working within the same, or similar role previous. 
You will be degree qualified and member of the RICS or IOB (or moving towards professional membership)
