A fantastic opportunity for a Technical Coordinator to be involved in a prestigious regeneration project based just North of London.

 

You will be working with a reputable developer and house builder who are renowned for transforming areas in London for the better and creating new social hubs where people want to live. This project will include over 1200 residential units, over 80,000 sq. ft. of commercial space, retail units up to 20 storeys in height. The overall build time will be in excess of 8 years and is due to go to site later this year/early next.

 

As Technical Coordinator, you will be based in the head office until the project goes to site later this year/early next year where you will then be stationed 5 days a week. This means it will be the perfect opportunity to be involved on a project from the very beginning and see the project built right in front of your eyes. It will also mean that you will have superb opportunity to progress your career should you be willing to work hard, learn from more senior members and happy to put in extra hours as and when needed.

 

Reporting in to the Technical Managers, you will be responsible for the management, coordination and work flow of all technical information on your particular phase. You will be supporting senior members of staff with coordinating the required technical information for tenders and learning off experienced individuals which will helps accelerate your career quicker than most other businesses out there.

 

For this Technical Coordination position, we’re looking for individuals who can hit the ground running and won’t require much assistance in getting on with the job in hand. Assistance will be provided by the Technical Manager and others around should you need it however ideally you will have at least one or two years’ experience working for a house builder, developer or contractor on high rise, RC frame projects. Individuals from architectural practice WILL be consideredHOWEVER you should have strong experience on residential, UK projects and have relevant technical knowledge. You will also need to be aware of all current UK building regulations and be confident in moving in to a client-side position.

Key Requirements:

  • Ideally degree qualified (Architecture, Engineering, Structural, Civil Engineering) although other relevant construction knowledge will also be considered.
  • At least one or two years working for a house builder, developer or contractor on residential or mixed-use projects.
  • Experience of working on high rise RC frame projects and up to date knowledge of UK building regulations.
  • Ambitious, hardworking, career driven and the drive for being successful.
  • Outgoing, friendly and able to work well on your own as well as working with others.
