Job description.

I am working with one of the leading London residential developers who are looking to strengthen their senior team with a planning manager to act as the development directors no.2. You would be working on complex large regeneration projects in central London. You will pick up projects from early identification/ tender and project manage them through viability and feasibility and into planning. Ultimately you will package the schemes up and hand them over to the construction delivery teams.

The business is project heavy and we need someone with detailed experience of overseeing and managing master planning applications.  You would report into the development director but because of the way the company is structured you will be given full autonomy over projects and be expected to operate independently. You will work closely with the land buyers and also build a planning team around you

It is expected that you will have a background and experience of working on large urban project and be used to handling projects of 100 units plus as a minimum.

I am very keen to hear from either planning managers from other developers or associate directors from consultancy who want to make the move client side

Key requirements•    Degree qualified (ideally property related)•    Extensive experience working for a leading residential developer, house builder or planning consultancy•    You will be an experienced town planner used to project managing complex project through from early stage identification through to delivery.•    Detailed background of working on London or large urban regeneration projects. (100 units plus)•    Ambitious, driven and of director calibre.
