Job description.

I am working with a rapidly growing, privately owned house builder that has in the last few years alone has become a trusted and reputable name in the house building and partnership world who are looking for a Senior Technical Coordinator. They have successfully expanded across the West Midlands and more recently East Midlands and have plans for further expansion across the UK. The company has strong financial backing and already has circa £30m of projects on the ground ready to go.

You will be given clear progression to move up within the company and will become a fundamental member of an ambitious, hard working and close-knit team who will further expand. It will be the perfect time to join a growing business and be part of something opposed to just a cog in a large machine in a PLC or large house builder or developer.

The company partners with residential providers and local authorities to deliver high quality affordable housing which makes the business very robust against any changing market conditions and will give the opportunity to change the face of local communities and give back to those that need it. The business works closely with a major contractor who have a strong name in the industry and work perfectly hand in hand with one another.

You may be an experienced Technical Coordinator, Design Coordinator or Development Coordinator at a house builder or developer looking to take the step up or may be working at a partnership arm of a house builder or developer who wants to join an entrepreneurial business who is fast expanding across the Midlands.

Taking projects from the early stages through to on site delivery and completion, you may come from an architectural or engineering background or other relevant discipline and be able to demonstrate these skills as an individual and as part of a wider team. You will ideally have 3+ year’s experience at Technical Coordinator, Design Coordinator or Development Coordinator and be ambitious and hungry to succeed and progress.

This is a real opportunity to grow and develop your career in a fast growing, entrepreneurial atmosphere with like-minded individuals around you.

Expected experiences:

  • Degree qualified in architecture, engineering or other relevant background.
  • 3+ years experience as a Technical Coordinator, Design Coordinator or Development Coordinator.
  • Experience working for a house builder, developer or partnership arm of one.
  • Ambitious, hungry and driven to succeed within an entrepreneurial company.
  • A hunger to work on high quality affordable housing and partner closely with registered providers and local authorities.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently from the rest of the team.
