Town Planner
Up to £50K plus package

We’re actively seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Town Planner to become an integral part of our client’s team in Kent. In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to make a significant impact by contributing to the planning of residential developments.
You will be reporting straight to the Planning Director, giving this role high visibility. This position offers you the chance to develop your current knowledge with a company that values their staff and encourages internal promotions!

  • Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders and community groups.
  • Formulating and presenting planning applications, with ongoing communication with regulatory bodies.
  • Assessing and proposing resolutions for intricate planning and zoning issues.
  • Sustaining a commitment to ongoing research, keeping up to date with local, regional, and national planning regulations and industry best practices.
  • Develop a deep understanding of development opportunities and competitor activities.
  • You will work closely with other departments such as the land and technical teams in carrying out your duties
  • Provide sound planning advice to other areas of the business.

  • Degree qualified, MRTPI
  • 2+ years’ experience in a town planning role (at a local authority, consultancy or developer)
