Job description

A new opportunity has arisen for a Technical Coordinator to join an award winning privately owned house builder close to the Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire border. They are a well established brand who build a good quality product and set themselves apart from other competition. 


As Technical Coordinator you will be involved in all stages in the development cycle from cradle to grave with the main emphasis on ensuring designs and drawing packages from external consultants like Architects and Engineers are correct and consistent at all times. Reporting in to the Technical Manager you will ideally have experience of working for another house builder or developer however individuals from architectural practice or engineering consultancies will also be considered should they hold the proven experience of working on multi unit residential projects. Someone who works in practice or consultancy working with a house builder or developer as a client would be of strong interest.


You need to be degree qualified in Architecture, Engineering or another relevant field and should be a motivated, hard working individual who wants to be part of a small family feel team. Ongoing progression, training and support will be offered in a company with a low turnover of staff and some fantastic projects coming through. 


Key Requirements:

  • Ideally degree qualified in Architecture, Engineering or another relevant field.
  • Previous experience of working with a house builder or developer in a Technical field is desirable HOWEVER individuals who have relevant multi unit residential experience working for an architectural practice or engineering consultancy will also be considered. It would be a superb opportunity to move client side!
  • Confident in working at different stages of the development cycle from cradle to grave.
  • Ensure you have strong attention to detail and confident in ensuring designs from external consultants are correct at all stages of the development cycle.
  • Have prior residential experience.
  • Calm and collected under pressure with the desire to work in a tight family feel team.
