Job description

I’m working with a privately owned, entrepreneurial house builder who are looking to strengthen their technical team with a Technical Coordinator.


Due to a low turnover of staff, the company rarely recruit and they have an outstanding reputation for designing and building prestigious homes in areas that people love to live. They have a strong team of individuals who feel more like a family than just work colleagues and regularly hold social events. Due to this continued success and a strong pipeline of work, they are now looking for a Technical Coordinator to join their family.


As Technical Coordinator you will be working on projects from the pre-construction stages and overseeing the build through on site construction delivery and completion. You will be checking working drawings and liaising with external consultants including Structural and Civil Engineers, M&E Engineers and Architects to ensure all the relevant information is provided at various stages in the development.


Reporting in to the Technical Manager you will need to be an individual who is calm under pressure and is a good problem solver who can juggle numerous tasks at any one time. You will have a strong residential background having worked on residential based projects which can include low rise traditional housing or RC frame construction with a house builder, contractor or developer.


You will be degree qualified and come from an architectural, engineering or other relevant background and ideally have at least 2 years’ experience in a Coordinator role and have managed your own projects or at least assisted in larger sites.

Key Requirements:


  • Degree qualified in Architecture, Engineering or other relevant qualification.
  • Have worked on residential based projects for a house builder, developer or contractor.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Coordinator position, either running your own projects or assisting in larger sites.
  • Calm under pressure and able to juggle numerous tasks at any one time.
  • Looking for career progression and longevity.
