Job description.

Are you a recent town planning graduate with circa 6-24 months post graduate experience? We are working with a high profile privately owned property developer that is looking to strengthen its town planning team in central London with an additional town planner or graduate town planner.


The client is based in Mayfair and is an extremely well-funded strategic land promotor. They have grown rapidly over the past 5 years and have one of the best land and planning teams in the industry. They source off market sites to sign up option agreements and then work with the land owner to achieve a high level of return once the planning permission is gained.


You will be a very ambitious and driven recent graduate with an interest in town planning. You will be looking to work in a fast paced and exciting property developer.


The role would work directly with the planning director and focus on securing town planning consents on strategic land options. You will also deal with planning appeals and help the land buying team with appraisals of new sites. You will either have mrtpi accreditation or be working towards this.


The role is based in their brand new central London office but allows flexibility for 2-3 days a week working from home. The salary would be £35k-£45k plus package and bonus.


Key requirements

  • Recent graduate town planner with 6-24 months post graduation experience
  • Be either mrtpi accredited or working towards this pathway
  • Have experience of providing town planning advise on residential house building projects
  • Ideally, have exposure to strategic land options or promotion.
  • Super ambitious and driven and want to work within a fast paced and high energy environment
  • Able to work in brand new central London office 2 days week minimum (2-3 days a week working from home/ flexible)
