A real estate analyst (or alternatively property analyst) reviews and produces financial analysis for financing, acquisition, marketing or leasing of real estate. The reports produced will review economic conditions, market trends and ongoing financial situation.
The role includes a number of areas such as site planning, development and conservation.
In general responsibilities consist of:
- Research of real estate market conditions in an area
- Management of the holdings of an organisation in regards to watching the market and resolution of any changes in the market
- Preparation of reports on a regular basis
