Engineer

Up to £60,000 basic plus package
I’m working with a privately owned Kent developer who are looking for an Engineer, or a Technical Coordinator with a strong engineering bias, to join them in Faversham.
The role
- Engineering design across a varied pipeline, from smaller infill schemes to large mixed use sites with infrastructure attached
- Drainage strategies and SuDS design, setting levels, external works and roads
- Coordinate utilities from early enquiry through to installation on site
- Manage the external consultant team and hold them to programme
- Drive s38, s104 and s278 agreements through to adoption
- Support planning and technical at the front end, testing whether a layout works on levels and drainage before submission
- Act as technical point of contact for site teams once a scheme is live
About you
- Currently an Engineer or Technical Coordinator with a housebuilder or developer
- Comfortable with section agreements and the pace they move at
- Confident reading and challenging a consultant’s design rather than just passing it on
- Happy dealing direct with the highways authority, water authority and utility providers
- Kent or South East experience a bonus, not a must
- Degree, HNC or equivalent is fine
